Pyramids looking for their First, Sundowns looking for their Second Title in tonights final

This Sunday’s 2025 Caf Champions League final second leg is when Mamelodi Sundowns and Pyramids clash.
The match is evenly poised after the first leg ended in a 1-1 draw with Walid Elkarti grabbing a late equaliser to cancel out Ribeiro goal that had given the South African a deserved lead half way the second half.

Pyramids, hoping to be the fourth side from Egypt to lift the side have some experienced campaigners in the squad like Elkarti, winner with Wydad Casablanca in 2017 and also Sherif Ekramy and Ramadan Sobhi who all won it with Al Ahly.

Meanwhile, Sundowns, 2016 winners will be hoping to repeat the performance that saw them eliminate Al Ahly before their own fans in Cairo in the semi-finals.

Denis Onyango and Themba Zwane were part of the Brazilian side that won the 2016 title, their first continental title ever and will be itching to lead the lads to a second one.

Teboho Mokoena, Ribeiro, Khuliso Mudau, Aubrey Modiba and Grant Kekana are seasoned campaigners all whom Sundowns will be relying on for triumph.
